Information We Collect and Why

This website uses Cookies. Cookies are small files that websites place on your computer as you browse the web. This site only collects session cookies that are stored for the duration of the browsing session and are necessary for this website to function properly and provide a better experience with the website.

When you send inquiries to us, or respond to emails or surveys, we will collect your email address, name and any other information you choose to include in your email or responses in order to properly respond to you, to aggregate data provided to better improve our membership service and provide direct marketing to you, and for any other legal purpose based on the context of the inquiry (such as responding and reporting a data breach). If you tag us on social media platforms or send us direct messages, depending on the settings you have chosen for the social media platform and the context of the post, we may maintain records of the social media messages in order to request permission to share for our commercial purposes, to respond to your inquiry, to improve our membership offering, or for any legal actions that may be necessary based on the context of the social media post you make, or for legal reporting obligations we may have.

If you purchase a policy from WFTDI, you voluntarily provide your contact details such as name, postal address, phone number and email through filling out our electronic forms for the purpose of purchase and processing of WFTDI insurance, and to manage our relationship with you. As part of your business with us, we may also receive personal information about you, such as date of birth and government identifiers associated with you (such as social security number and tax ID) and your league affiliation (including venue or management company address), necessary to provide insurance. The form data will be stored and used to identify and communicate with you in regard to your requests. Only website administrators have access to the form data and will be stored indefinitely.

We may use your contact information that you’ve provided to occasionally advertise products to you by third parties that we think may be of interest to you. You can opt out of these communications when you receive them.

You may also opt back in at any time by updating your preferences with us.

With your consent, we may share your contact information with third-parties for purposes of marketing other products we think might be useful, or of interest to you. You can always opt out of these communications at any time you receive them.
