As roller derby returns to high level, competitive tournaments this year, WFTDI wanted to share a friendly reminder that it’s on all of us to keep our community and our sport safe. When purchasing WFTDI insurance, each policyholder signs an agreement to the terms of use. The following behavior is a direct violation of these terms: reckless or negligent behavior that is outside the confines of game-related contact, including fighting, punching, kicking, or intentional injury, that puts you or any participant at risk. Violation of this policy, signed by all of our insurance holders, will result in immediate termination of coverage. We appreciate all of your hard work this year to bring roller derby back, and we look forward to safe, exciting tournaments ahead.
